Why doesn't my BEACN device start on PC boot or wake?Updated 9 months ago

We have had reports of instances where powered USB hubs are causing issues with a BEACN device's ability to boot with the system on startup or on wake from sleep. This issue has been noted to happen when BEACN devices were plugged directly into powered USB hubs, as well as when powered USB hubs are being used on the system, regardless of whether the BEACN device is routed through the USB hub itself.

If you experience these issues and happen to be running a powered hub, it's suggested to first try and move the device off the hub (if applicable) and/or unplug the external power from the hub and see if you still have boot/wake issues.
